Kia Motor Corporation Expands its Operation in the US market

In the year of 2012, the corporation has received the sales of more than 2.7 million vehicles. One year later, the sales of vehicles had increased by approximately 2.75 million. In order to expand the scale, Kia Motor Corporation set up a branch corporation in the US. As a matter of fact, Kia Motors America (KMA) serves as the corporation’s sales, distribution, and marketing in the United States. In particular, KMA provides a full line of automobiles through over 750 dealers across the US. In the year of 2008, it was estimated that KMA had increased its market share in the US. One year later, KMA came as the eighth place of the best-selling automotive brand in the US market. In addition, Kia Motors Corporation began to conduct its production in the US. Therefore, the corporation set up Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia in West Point. In the year of 2012, the corporation decided to construct more facilities. As a consequence, Kia Sorento crossover vehicle and Kia Optima sedan was created this year.
